The theme for tonight was Radio Hits. To put some drama to the very boring show, they paired the Idols such that their partner will choose the song for them. Of course, being Filipinos, they picked songs that were okay to their partner. Well, that was the assumption but some people still messed it up.
If I were a judge in Philippine Idol, ganito sasabihin ko:
Gian Magdangal. It’s a very interesting piece. Tama yung sinabi ni Jan, the song suited your voice, however, may sabit kang mga nota at mukha kang pagod. It’s like you don’t want to be here tonight. It’s good enough for me though.
Jan Nieto. Jan, you surprise me. Once again, you proved na you want to be the Philippine Idol with that performance. Maganda ang interpretation mo of the song and it suited you. I want to see you next week.
Mau Marcelo. Song choice ruined your night Mau. Hindi mo gusto yung kanta and it showed in your performance. Nawala ang magic mo tonight Mau pero you’re still good. Naisahan ka dun ni Miguel.
Miguel Mendoza. Boring. Yun lang ang masasabi ko talaga dahil walang kadating-dating yung performance kung matatawag ko ba yung ganun. Napaka-karaoke. Sana pumunta ka na lang sa Music 21 at nagbook ka nagkaraoke ka dun. Walang kabuhay-buhay.
Ken Dingle. Everyone, that’s how someone massacres a good song. It’s the most horrible version I heard. It’s below karaoke.
Pow Chavez. You look sad, Pow. Like Gian, it’s like you don’t want to be here. But your performance is still good though. The song suited your voice and hopefully, naabot ng kanta mo ang voters.
Sana matanggal na si Ken because I can not stand him anymore. He keeps on saying that it’s his own style and that’s one big BS dahil hindi nagwowork. Sana wala ng bumoto sa kanya dahil nararamdaman kong may mawawala na namang magaling na Idol dahil sa mga hindi deserving na mga contestants gaya ni Ken. Pag natanggal ka, sana sumunod ka na Miguel.
